Aircraft Spirals Out of Control into Palm Trees at Popular Southern California Beach
An aircraft flying over a popular California coastline unexpectedly started spinning uncontrollably, eventually dropping height and crashing into a row of palm groves as spectators watched.
Recordings shared on the internet capture the helicopter commencing to spiral above the beach then descending near the border of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palm trees and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
First Aid Details
Emergency responders said five individuals were taken to hospital involving two who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.
Three persons on the pavement were hurt. Details on their injuries were not yet released.
What led to the incident was still under investigation.
